In the Travel News, the only airline serving Stockton is about to start charging you $5 to print a boarding pass at the airport; and we talk about why it’s time to think about buying your tickets for holiday travel.

Tour Preview Day – Yesterday, over 600 travelers attended Sports Leisure Vacations‘ annual Tour Preview Day, held in two session at the Doubletree Hotel.  The Travel Guys were there, and recorded a live segment to share.  If you are a Sports Leisure Traveler or someone interested in learning more about Sacramento’s premier company for mature travelers, you won’t want to miss this segment. The new catalog will be available on line later this week, and is being mailed to Travel Club Members on Tuesday.

We take you to Clarksville, Tennessee.  In the shadow of Nashville, it’s the current residence of Lee Greenwood, a native Sacramentan.  It’s also home to some wonderful attractions and (compared to Nashville) value-priced accommodations.  Our in studio guest is Frances Manzitto, to share a little about Clarksville and why you have to make it part of your next visit to the Nashville area.

Gwen Duncan of Cordially Yours Travel is in to share the Deal of the Week.  There are some great airfares to Hawaii in late October/early November and Gwen has found some great hotel deals to go with them.
