This week’s edition of The Travel Guys features a variety of guests, so there’s something for everyone.
Amy Schneider is the General Manager of the Ambassador Hotel, a historical landmark property in downtown Milwaukee. Her hotel has those pesky mini-bars that automatically charge guests when an item is removed, or even viewed for a short time. But her hotel has found a unique, guest-friendly way to avoid bogus charges on your bill for the items you only looked at and didn’t consume.
Stray Boots has found a unique niche for travelers. They offer a series of scavanger hunts in cities across the country, where you buy the route and clues, then provide updates along the way which guide you through the rest of your “hunt.” Mark bought one and thinks it’s an unusual way to see a new destination or find new things to see and do in an area you are already familiar with. Their owner is our guest.
Finally, in our entertainment segment, Tom has a preview of a brand new Travel Channel Show debuting Tuesday, Resort Rescue.
Gwen Duncan has a Deal of the Week, we’ll tell you which major hotel chain was fined over a half million dollars for jamming guests’ internet signals and make you a smarter traveler, Sunday on The Travel Guys.
