*On the Saturday, November 7th, 2026 edition of The Travel Guys…*

- In the **Travel News**, a new electric ferry might be coming to Lake Tahoe, and Jet Blue kicks off what is bound to be another all airline race to increase baggage fees. Wait, didn't they just raise those? More details in the Travel News.
- In our **Smarter Traveler** segment, Frontier Airlines is warning about a new kind of cell phone scam; and United proves once again how good the airlines are at taking something that was free, then making us pay to get it back.
- **Chris Elliott** joins us to talk about someone who sent dozens of ridiculous requests for help to his consumer advocacy mailbox...and I ask Chris if he falls for those online pop-ups telling you there are only "two left at this price..."
- Finally, perhaps the day's biggest story. American Airlines gets caught charging more for a single ticket than for two tickets on the same plane. That's right, proof of what we have feared. **The airlines may be using AI** to decide the price of your ticket.
