Calaveras County and Cats on the Plane?
This week’s episode of The Travel Guys gives you some great ideas on things to do right here in northern California. Calaveras County is just a short drive from Sacramento, in the Sierra foothills. Known internationally for the annual Jumping Frog Jubilee, there’s way more in Calaveras than just frogs. From the quaint town of Murphy’s to the Sequoia Trees in Calaveras Big Trees State Park there’s everything from history to the great outdoors. Lisa Mayo, Director of the Calaveras Visitors Bureau, is on hand to tell us about some potential new adventures.
