On the Saturday, February 21st, 2015 edition of The Travel Guys… On this week's edition of The Travel Guys, we talk to an old friend and take you to a new country.  The old friend is Summer Hull, creator of Mommy Points, a most unique frequent flyer web site, designed for...mommies.  And others as well.  But Summer has a 5 year old and another on the way, so her outlook on travel and the miles/points game is a little different than most.  Not to mention the fact she's a really fun interview. We go to Croatia, to explore an upcoming Sports Leisure Vacations package, but also to get you better informed about a really interesting country.   How to best see Croatia?  From the land and from the sea is the answer. In the travel news, Southwest is, for the second straight year, devaluing your frequent flyer points.  We'll explain how it won't impact everyone.  Plus, a United flight attendant has written an open letter to her boss...and we have a copy to share with you.

On the Sunday, February 15th, 2015 edition of The Travel Guys… This week on The Travel Guys, we highlight a nearby National Park, take you on a train ride or two and tell you about the second biggest floral parade in the country. In the travel news, resort fees are spreading across the country.  Mark has a strong opinion on resort fees.  What do you think that might be? The rains have come to Yosemite, and Road Reporter Ramona Goodge is on hand with an update on travel to the park in the springtime. Chris Hart is president of three local railroads, in Sacramento, Ft. Bragg/Willits and Oakdale.  You can enjoy a variety of excursions for sightseeing and special meals. The Portland Rose Parade is part of the Rose Festival held in Oregon every June.  Carol Ross is our guest, sharing details on some of the festival's special events. Heath Buckmaster is in studio to tell you about a special event Sacramento's public television station is holding and we give you a chance to win tickets at the end of the show.

On the Sunday, February 8th, 2015 edition of The Travel Guys… This week on The Travel Guys, we have a decidedly local slant. We start with a visit to the KP International Market in Rancho Cordova. Travel Guy Tom was joined by Road Reporter Steve LaRosa on an "Around The World" Tour is this most interesting store.  Have you been there yet?  Check out the photos below (click on photo to enlarge), and listen in as we take you to one of Sacramento's most international of places. Jack Gallagher joins us to talk about his new show, Five Songs, playing at the B Street Theater through March 1st.  It's a most unique production, where the audience picks songs and Jack tells the stories that go with them.  A lot of laughs, perhaps a few tears, you always get your money's worth when Jack is on the stage. In the Travel News, Mark has an update on the measles outbreak at Disneyland, we tell you about a new app for your phone which allows you to "rent a bathroom," and there's a new car rental company on the horizon with a pretty neat reservation system.  Details Sunday at 3pm on The Travel Guys.
