First, the Anaheim White House, a small restaurant in the greater Disneyland neighborhood, they have created a pretty amazing community service program. The restaurant feeds 1200 children a day at a dozen locations throughout Orange County. That's right, 1200 A DAY. And that's only one of the amazing things they do for their community.
Second, it's Washed Ashore, a most interesting attraction on the Oregon Coast, in the village of Bandon. The gallery features art made from trash collected on the beach, and now it's being exhibited around the country. Listen as Mark and Tom share this fascinating story.

Amy Schneider is the General Manager of the Ambassador Hotel, a historical landmark property in downtown Milwaukee. Her hotel has those pesky mini-bars that automatically charge guests when an item is removed, or even viewed for a short time. But her hotel has found a unique, guest-friendly way to avoid bogus charges on your bill for the items you only looked at and didn't consume. Stray Boots has found a unique niche for travelers. They offer a series of scavanger hunts in cities across the country, where you buy the route and clues, then provide updates along the way which guide you through the rest of your "hunt." Mark bought one and thinks it's an unusual way to see a new destination or find new things to see and do in an area you are already familiar with. Their owner is our guest.

Ed Perkins, our trusty consumer advocate from Ashland, Oregon, is on hand to opine about a variety of topics in the news, including a new audit to make sure the airlines are delivering on their promises when it comes to Frequent Flyer programs. Ed also talks with us about the new gratuity envelopes in Marriott Hotel rooms, gives kudos to a recent Travel Guys guest, the Whiteface Lodge in the Adirondacks, for dropping their resort fees.
