On the Sunday, June 6th, 2010 edition of The Travel Guys… Join Mark and Tom Sunday at noon as they take you on a trip to and around Oregon. With finances still tight for many Sacramentans, many people are looking for places closer to home for R & R. Oregon is that place.

Interesting Travel Story of the Week Man Finds Camera in Key West and Traces Owner
There is a story on cruisecritic.com today about a man who found a camera washed up on the shore at Key West. Paul Shultz, who happens to be a criminal investigator for the U.S. Coast Guard, couldn't resist the challenge to identify the origins of the mysterious camera. Yesterday, a combination of his own impressive ingenuity and the power of social media Web sites meant that he was able to locate the camera's owner, in Aruba. The plot involved undersea relics, hidden clues and even a curious sea turtle. There is a link to a video that is fascinating to watch. The camera was banged around and a sea turtle accidentally turned the video recording on so the video is taken underwater. You can catch glimpses of the turtle as the camera bangs around. And now for the rules: One guess is permitted per person per day, either live on The Travel Guys broadcast or by e-mail. In the event the Mystery Spot is correctly guessed off the air, the earliest correct guess, by time stamp on the e-mail, will be considered the winner. There will be 5 Mystery Spots. Each person correctly guessing a Mystery Spot will receive a Third Prize package. All 5 correct guessers, along with a randomly selected contestant, will appear on a future Travel Guys broadcast to compete in The Travel Guys Travel Trivia Contest to determine the first and second prizes. Any contestant unable to appear on the designated program will be disqualified from the first and second prizes and will receive no further compensation. Steve Richer, Public Affairs representative for the National Tour Ass'n in Washington, DC, updates us on the status of travel to Cuba. There could be some action as soon as next week, according to Richer, which could allow U.S. citizens to return to Cuba as tourists after more than 50 years.
