On the Sunday, August 24th, 2014 edition of The Travel Guys… It's all about hot air! Mark and Tom (experts on the subject) interview Tom Garrity, Communications Director for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, held the first two weekends of October every year. Now it's 43rd year, the fiesta is the biggest of its kind in the country, and indeed draws spectators from all over the planet. Tom shares the best ways to see the balloons, and explains the different events in which they are launched, or in some cases, tethered. Sports Leisure Vacations offers the balloons on a tour every year, and this year's trip includes Carlsbad Caverns.

On the Sunday, July 10th, 2016 edition of The Travel Guys… We take you to the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, where for the next two months you can enjoy a traditional Shakespeare production (Comedy of Errors), with the lake as a backdrop. There might not be a more beautiful theatrical venue in the country.
